- This document will explain the students about how he is facilitated during the placement processes and what are the duties of and responsibilities of the student for seeking the job from placement cell
- The students should fill up the Resume Form available on the web and submit the duly filled in Form as per schedule indicated.
- The prescribed Resume form should be duly typed/filled and signed. About 5-10 Xerox Copies (of good quality) of the Resume Form (in A-4 size paper only) along with the original should be ready with the students and 1 copy of it may be submitted to Placement officer.
- The student can avail of the placement facilities,
- if only he/she has not more than one backlog at the time of placement of that batch.
- If he/she has secured of 60% marks or above in aggregate in CDAC training course
- If he/she has 75% of attendance in aggregate in CDAC training course
- The requirement of industries/organization for campus selection of students will appear on Placement Notice Board
- In unavoidable circumstances, the students who is unable to attend the campus interview should inform the placement Coordinator in writing well in advance failing which he/she will not be allowed to appear for any more interviews.
- After a student receives one job offer, he/she will not be allowed to apply to any additional company any withdraw from any other selection process which is going on at that time.
- After receiving one job offer, if a student continues to appear for campus interviews before other companies without consulting the placement In-charge student will be DEBARRED form appearing for further campus / Off-campus interviews and this may even result in withdrawal of the job offer already made.
- If a student gets more than one Job or the arrange to get one more job from outside then he/she should inform the company and the placement In-charge about the company he/she would be joining finally, well in advance.
- If due to certain reasons the Company / Organization drops its plans of conducting campus / off-campus interviews, the concerned students will be allowed to appear for other company.
- Those who remain absent for any campus interview without prior intimation to the placement in-charge will not be allowed to appear next four companies. Those who remain absent for two Campus interviews without prior intimation, will be debarred permanently from placement process.
- An individual student is eligible to receive a job offer of seven valid chances in general.
- After entering the willingness in 1st round, subsequent absence of the student at the interview will be deemed as a loss of one valid chance. If the company, after receiving and scrutinizing the resume of a student, does not call him/her for interview / written test etc. at the very beginning, then this will also be deemed as loss of one valid chance.
- If a student does not receive even a single job offer in 5 valid chances, then the case will be reviewed by the Placement In-charge and the Centre Coordinator based on the student’s performance at the previous interviews whether to allow or not to allow him/her more valid chances for seeking a job.
- Student should attend interviews in time. Last minute rush will create inconvenience to the Visiting Executives/ Teams from the companies, hence may not be allowed
- The Resume of students will not be accepted/forwarded after the stipulated time limit.
- The students, who are planning to go for higher studies, are requested not to take up any job through placement cell such a situation would create problems to the fellow students who really need jobs.
- The Students after taking a decision about their future career plans, should inform the employer directly under intimation to Placement in-charge. This would enable the company to consider other students for placement.
- The students should note their turn and timings for appearing before the Interviewing Committee as notified on the placement Notice Board. Not more than 2 to 4 students would wait outside the interview Room. Large crowd of students in the corridor would cause inconvenience to the Company executives as well as to the office staff.
- The students are advised to keep a complete record with full details of the industries / organizations to whom they are applying and other relevant information viz: post offered, training particulars / stipend / salary / bond particulars, if any, and telephone no. / person to be contacted etc. from the display of company’s requirements / profile on Notice Board. Request to see the papers / details from the office files at a later date will not be entertained.
- The students, who by any chance are not placed and leave the Institute campus on completion of their diploma program, should keep in regular touch with placement in-charge for effectively monitoring and arranging their off-campus interviews. As soon as they get job offers either through the efforts of this office or their own they should inform the Placement in-charge accordingly.
- The students are requested to furnish promptly correct information about them as and when it is sought by the Placement in-charge.
- The students are expected to join the organizations as per the undertaking executed by them. If more than one job offers are received by a student, he/she should accept only one offer in writing and give regret letter to other company within 48 hours.
- In case the students change their minds from their earlier commitment to join, it is obligatory on their part to inform accordingly the concerned organisation and training school in writing.
All students are requested to extend their full Co-operation for placing every Student of current batch.
