Ubiquitous Computing
Brief Description including objectives:
The technology trends across the globe are pointing towards Ubiquitous Computing (UbiComp) to make intelligent devices, all pervasive, and effectively invisible to the user. UbiComp has potential applications in several sectors such as Mobile Computing, High Performance Computing, Network Security, Agriculture, Surveillance and empowering the common man to improve the quality of life. With the increasing penetration of mobile communication and Internet, India does offer a great market for UbiComp and its proliferation.
