About the Tutorial
Recent advances in Information and
Communication Technologies(ICT) have enabled a new era of multimedia
applications over wired and wireless networks. Among these, video
streaming is an important application that lets people to watch their
favourite videos on their mobile phone or PC. There are number of
challenges like varying bandwidths, different streaming protocols,
heterogeneous networks, support of video formats and codecs, screen
sizes etc that are to be considered before designing any video
streaming application. The goal of this tutorial is to train the
